Guglielmo Barzacchini is an Italian DJ and producer living in London. He makes electronic percussive tracks with influences originating from a diverse range of music all over the world. Under the moniker TSVI, he continues to propel London’s rave underground scene and has co-founded the UK-based record label Nervous Horizon. His debut album Inner Worlds, released in 2018, is an exploration into his Hindu upbringing and the Sufi Islam introduced by his partner. In recent years, he has performed at CTM festival 2019 at Berghain, Field Day London, and No Bounds Festival.
Matteo Zamagni is an artist working across visual arts, multimedia installations, film production, and electronic music. Through these distinct and intersecting creative forays, Zamagni connects an array of contemporary technologies, science and esoteric topics in order to critically explore the complex of crises that characterize a contemporary epoch of planetary scale environmental, economic, and social upheaval. While Zamagni’s multimedia artworks create accessible and at times interactive entry points into thinking through complex and essential issues, his music production Seven Orbits provides a further platform for the playful experimentation with audiovisual projects.
Under the moniker Paraadiso, TSVI and Seven Orbits released their debut album titled Unison with Shanghai-based label SVBKVLT, inspired by Italian folk music, noise, ancient choral acoustic compositions, and rituals.
TSVI’s and Seven Orbit’s live A/V performance at MUTEK marks the North American of their new project Paraadiso. Their work focuses on conveying a sense similar to those felt in ancient gatherings and ceremonies where the collective physical experience meant heightened stimulation at both the individual level and collective level. Stimulating experiences of synchrony and collective emotion between individuals, the artists seek to generate feelings of openness and inclusion.
